How it Began
It all started with a homemade lemon cake at Sunday dinner. In 2010, during a conversation with friends about their entrepreneurial dreams, Eddie had an “aha” moment—he realized he had a true passion for event planning and entertaining. That revelation led him down a path of culinary exploration. He began researching the industry, testing dessert recipes, and uncovering a talent he didn’t know he had: creating festive, flavorful desserts with flair. And just like that, Eddie’s Edibles was born.
To put his skills to the test, Eddie started selling his treats at local beauty salons. He quickly discovered one undeniable truth—women love a good cupcake. Whatever flavor they requested, he perfected. That grassroots approach not only allowed him to sharpen his craft but also opened doors he never imagined. He soon became the go-to dessert guy for baby showers, bridal parties, birthdays, and any celebration that called for a high-quality sweet treat.
As word spread, so did his clientele—and with it, the stakes. His first celebrity customer was Vanessa Simmons followed by Kelly Price. While the cupcakes were a hit, his presentation didn’t quite match the caliber of his flavor. That moment was a turning point. Eddie knew he had to elevate his brand—and he did.
Today, Eddie’s Edibles is more than just a cupcake shop—it’s a full-service culinary and event company known for bold flavor, polished presentation, and unmatched creativity.
